Luxury Cabin Experience Family and Friends Summer Outing 2021

Lakeside Mansion Luxury Cabin – Hochatown, Oklahoma

We were so glad we got to join my friends in a luxury cabin stay this Summer Break. It’s been a long overdue get-together plan. So happy that it went through. We rented an eight-bedroom with seven bathrooms luxury cabin in Hochatown, Oklahoma. It is called the Lakeside Mansion. The cabin was so beautiful and very homey. The location’s good with a pond in the back where you can do some fishing. In fact, my darling daughter caught three blue gills. 🙂

The cabin’s kitchen was spacious, and it has two dining areas. The living room was big enough for dancing and singing karaoke. 🙂 There were five bedrooms upstairs. One of the rooms had two sets of bunk beds. The cabin also had two entertainment rooms and a veranda. Downstairs had three bedrooms. One of them was a separate.

There’s also an outdoor jacuzzi and a huge patio. The cabin was fully-furnished, so we didn’t really need to bring any pots and pans, even dinnerware and flatware. But we brought disposable plates and utensils just in case. We were eight families staying, so we brought ingredients for the food we were cooking for everyone. It was a three-night stay and things to-do was planned ahead of time.

The Lakeside Mansion luxury cabin is located a few minutes away from Beaver’s State Park. It was very convenient.

Exploring Downtown Dallas on Spring Break

Old Red Museum of Dallas
Magnolia Building
Beautiful building structure in Downtown Dallas

It’s Spring Break, that means it’s frolicking time again. We had a great time exploring Downtown Dallas today. We didn’t take the DART because we thought the travel time was quite long. So we convoyed. We felt more comfortable with that.

Exploring city downtown means a lot of walking. But we were prepared for that. We had our most comfortable tennis shoes on. Ha! You have to pay a one-day parking in downtown, too. It was $10 per car.

I always admire beautiful building structures and Downtown Dallas did not disappoint. You may look at the photos above. We visited one museum called Museum of Illusions. Below is me and the girls in one of the areas where your eyes are tricked (optical illusion).

After so much walking, we were starving, so we had an early dinner at the Family Thais Asian Bistro and headed home after.

Family Beach Holiday Gulf Shores, Alabama

Wave boarding – Gulf Shores, Alabama

Family beach vacation was granted. It was an awesome beach holiday. Darling daughter was very happy that we were able to go to the beach this summer and had a great trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama. We left Texas Saturday morning, stopped in Slidell, Louisiana to spend the night, then headed to Gulf Shores the next day. It was a very long drive but it was worth it. We enjoyed our beach time and exploring during the five days stay.
