Who doesn’t like drinking hot cocoa on a chilly morning? On your way to Fort Worth, DD and I stopped at her favorite hamburger chain, In-N-Out, in Garland to eat brunch. It was still a bit chilly (temperature) in March (Spring Break). And I am not comfortable driving without taking anything warm or hot. So this hot cocoa was just perfect. And best of all, it was FREE. Yup, In-N-Out offered free hot cocoa that time. We used our free hamburger or cheeseburger coupons we received from the reading program at Smith Public Library (Wylie, TX). What a deal!
It was just recently when my daughter and I learned about the Cheesecake Factory. If it weren’t from my friend H and cousin E, we could have been missing the deliciousness of their cheesecakes.
After our trip to Galleria Mall in Dallas for the very first time last month, my cousin and I, together with our little girls, drove to Allen to buy some of their yummy cheesecake. We learned that it was the last day of their Buy One Slice for Half The Price promotion. Sure thing the restaurant was packed with people. Some of the customers were waiting to be seated. And most of them are waiting for their orders over the counter-that includes us. It was 30 minutes to closing time that night we went there. So we had to think fast of what kind of cheesecake we should get. Luckily the line was moving quickly so we placed and paid our order immediately. In about 20 minutes, we’re out of there.
My favorite so far is the Red Velvet Cheesecake. I super love it!!! Umm-uhm. So creamy and rich. Have you tried it? If not, you better. $7.95 per slice is worth it. It’s a decent slice size, too. If you learn about a promotion from the Cheesecake Factory, I highly recommend you avail it because it doesn’t happen very often. 🙂
El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant (Lavon, TX)
This restaurant replaced the previous Mexican restaurant few years ago. That’s a good thing because my husband and I didn’t like the food from that one. To us, El Rodeo in Lavon has the best Beef Fajitas. It smells so good that makes you very hungry. 🙂 Their rice and Chicken Enchiladas are good and not salty. The salsa sometimes have a kick to it. The food prices in the menu are reasonable and they serve margaritas free on weekends. 🙂
Oh boy, Olive Garden has amazing spaghetti and very good salad. Me and my family loves their food. Their Chicken Marsala is very delicious. Oh dear, I can’t get enough of Olive Garden’s food. We don’t go there very often but whenever we do, we order a big meal. The food prices are a little bit high for our budget but it’s worth it.
