Romantic City

I am watching a romantic movie this evening about a couple visiting Italy.  They are having a great time together.  The couple is roaming in the city of Rome.  They are staying in a hotel room with lots of paintings.  You know, hotel rooms with lots of paintings looks creepy to me.

Anyway, in the movie the sweet couple is enjoying each other’s company.  They are bar hopping, shopping, and even just loitering around the city.  I just noticed in the movie revolves around the city-giving the viewers an idea of how Rome looks like.  Seems to me that it’s very inviting to visit the city and have a tour.  There are old buildings with unique address plaques.  I kinda like the movie.

Rome is one of the romantic places to visit.  And if you are patient enough, you can find cheap city tours online.

Book in at this hotel in Wembley

The name Wembley is one of the most famous place names in Britain, and perhaps even the world. This of course is due mainly to the fact that it is home to Wembley Stadium, the site of so many of the England national team’s triumphs and disasters. But Wembley is also a thriving part of the capital and a popular residential and commercial district in its own right. Wembley includes Alperton, Preston, Tokyngton, Wembley Park, North Wembley, South Kenton and Northwick Park.

This being the case, there are a plethora of hotels in the area of varying prices and layouts. The Travelodge on North Circular Road is one of the most popular, due to its reasonable price and easy location. To book in at this hotel in Wembley only takes a minute and it is near to both the Hanger Lane tube station and the Stonebridge Park train station.

Wembley Stadium itself is a popular place to visit for those staying in the area, and it is possible to book tours of the giant construction. Currently work is being carried out on the Wembley City development, which will feature a new swimming pool, multiplex cinema, multiple retail units, as well as apartments and houses. The development is due to be completed in 2013.

Near to Wembley Stadium is the Sudbury Golf Course, which backs onto the famous Grand Union Canal. The Welsh Harp reservoir is also near to the stadium. The reservoir is fed by the River Brent and the Silk Stream and is a popular destination for water sports such as sailing, rowing and windsurfing. Though technically known as Brent Reservoir, the reservoir is informally referred to as the Welsh Harp after a famous pub that was in the area in the 1970s.
