Merry Christmas from The Wandering Miss! I hope everyone is having a cheerful Holiday Season and staying healthy and safe every day. My family and I are not traveling for the holidays. We are just going to spend Christmas with my husband’s family this year. Our plan for a Christmas vacation to the Philippines has been set aside for now. Strict travel restrictions are still in effect at airports and destinations require two weeks of quarantine upon arrival. We don’t want to be into that hassle.
Though we missed your family back home, we just have to endure this. We want everyone to be safe, too. Hopefully, the Covid-19 vaccine will be available soon.
For now, we just have to do stay-cation. Driving in and around Dallas is fun, too. In fact, we enjoyed looking at Christmas exhibits at Northpark Mall. We were amazed how intricate and beautiful each display was. It was worth the time loitering around Nortpark Mall.
The Sefcik family went to the Japanese Garden in Fort Worth for the Japanese Fall Festival 2020 event. We were supposed to meet my cousin and our other friends there, but we ran in late due to a prior engagement. So we missed them. 🙁
Anyhow, we were able to see a few attractions and darling daughter got a chance to play a Japanese traditional game. She won a lot of cute and cool prizes mostly are Japanese snacks. She had fun.
