Steven’s Gap Area Entrance
My family and I went to Beaver’s Bend State Park in Oklahoma last weekend. The trip was in celebration of our 6th wedding anniversary. We were supposed to go to the Fort Worth Zoo the other weekend but we cancelled the trip because of the bad weather.
The weather last Sunday was perfect for a drive to Oklahoma. Broken Bow, Oklahoma is a three-hour drive from our place. Driving that far is a good practice for me too. Anyway, we checked in at Microtel Inn in Broken Bow. After checking in and got our things in the hotel room, we drove to Beaver’s Bend State Park and stroll around to look for a spot to spend time at the next day.
We found the Coyote Drive camp site located in the second entrance of Beaver’s Bend Park – Lakeview Park Steven’s Gap. It’s a good place to spend the day in this area at the lake with your kids because there’s a playground there.
After strolling around, we head back to the hotel-cleaned up and had dinner at the Sunrise Buffet Chinese restaurant. We had rice, noodles, shrimp, broccoli beef…all we can eat, baby! 🙂 We were stuffed and had a good night sleep.
