Be Ready, Save Money

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Before leaving for a trip or vacation, it is very important to double check your luggage or carry-all bag if everything you need is inside.  The most essential things are your prescription medicines if you are taking some.  It is very inconvenient if you ran out of medication while traveling.  If you already planned for a month long vacation, you should fill you prescriptions two weeks before your schedule departure.  This is to avoid last minute cramming.  Also check your pharmacy if you still have refills left.  So you can inform your doctor ahead of time.  Take a flu shot to prevent harmful virus.  And if you do not have any discount card for prescription medicines, better get one to save money.

Friendly pharmacy like Walgreens is offering their patient customers a special discount on annual membership for its Walgreens Prescription Savings Club.  With payment of $35 a year, a family membership covers everyone in your immediate family, including a spouse, dependents 22 and younger and pets. What Caused The Earthquake?

I heard in the news today that an earthquake hit Central Visayas Region in the Philippines, February 6, 2012.  The highest magnitude recorded was 7.  A tsunami alert No. 2 is lifted in the Visayas coasts.

Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology or Phivolcs Director Renato Solidum Jr. told the media that it is not the under water volcanoes that caused the earthquake.  It is the subduction which means the the process of the oceanic lithosphere colliding with and descending beneath the continental lithosphere.

This is very scary especially to those who reside along the coasts.  Although my family lives far from the sea, the ground shaking is frightening.  I am praying for the safety of everyone. And to all the travelers in the region, please be alert and exercise extra caution.
