My Favorite Resort

I always look forward to summer because we get the chance to go to a resort and enjoy the season.  My husband and I love swimming and snorkeling.  There was a couple of times we went snorkeling back home.

Aside from that, I also like swimming in the pool.  It feels refreshing to get into the water especially in the morning.  My favorite resort in the Philippines, Coco Beach, has the serene pool area.  They call it Silent Pool :).  It is located on top of the hill.  The pool liners of the swimming pool are so cool in the eyes.  The water looks like seawater in color.  So when swimming in it, it feels like I am at the beach too.  Oh, I missed home.  I miss everything back home.

We are looking forward to our next vacation in two years.  God help us.

Fancy Dinner At The Christmas Party

Last night was my husband’s Company Christmas Party.  It was held at Maggiano’s Italian Restaurant in Plano.  The restaurant located by The Shops at Willow Bend by North Dallas Tollway.  It was about an hour drive from our house.  We could not find a parking spot because the area was full.  So we parked in the covered parking area by Neiman Marcus department store.

The company’s group in Plano decided to have their party separate from the Fort Worth group because it will not be so convenient if the Plano employees will drive all the way to Fort Worth.  Two years ago the company hosted the party in Fort Worth and most of the Plano employees did not come.  Maybe also because they had commitments or the distance too.

Anyway, my husband and I had fun at the party.  We got there exactly on time when the dinner started.  The dinner was a family service style.  The waiters served the platters of salad (first), main course (second), and desert (tiramisu, third) on the table.  Besides the raffle tickets, we were given tickets for drinks too.  I had a glass of margarita last night.  I like the food served for dinner except for the chicken with mushrooms and gravy.  I think the chicken was dry and not much of a flavor.  The pork loin on mashed potatoes and onion rings were awesome.  The bow-tie noodles were good and flavorful too.  After a nice fancy dinner, I had a hot cup of coffee to settle down the food in my stomach.  Man, that was good!

Wishing To Have A New Phone And I Want The New LG DoublePlay

I always take my phone with me whenever I leave the house because:

  1. Communication is very important to me.  I call and text my love ones and friends.
  2. For emergency purposes, a cell phone is always handy.

  4. My family and friends can always reach me.  If there are circumstances I cannot answer my phone, I always check the voice mailbox for messages.

These are the main reasons why a cell phone is a necessity for me.  I am not quite a caller but I am texter (fond of sending text messages thru a cell phone).  When I started to own a cell phone years ago, sending text messages was my major activity.  I text a lot especially if the service is FREE!  ‘Do not have any idea how many texts I send to family and friends in a week or in a month.

With my current cell phone, I do not have access to the Internet.  So there is no way for me to interact with Facebook friends or with my other social network connections.  I wish I could have this LG DoublePlay™ cell phone from LG.  It has lots of amazing features that a cell phone user like me can ever experience – a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard and Swype® for easy text input, multiple text options for easy sending and receiving texts from individuals or group, and multitasking features for users to enjoy social networking.  There are many more interesting features from this new LG phone.  This phone is exclusively available only at T-Mobile.  Ain’t that exciting?  I would really, really love to have one this Christmas so I can  replace my current cell phone that I have been using for a couple of years.  I think I deserve an upgrade.
