It was another marvelous event again in the swimming competition between Torres of USA and Steffen of Germany. They were vying for the fastest woman swimmer in the world at the Olympics in Beijing this evening. Steffen won with .01 of a second above Torres and getting the gold medal for the 50 meters freestyle. Torres got the silver. What a swim!
