Road Trips Are Calling

Subaru Outback 2017

This gorgeous SUV is ready for a road trip. We are ready for a road trip. We can’t wait to go on a mini vacation until this Shelter-in-Place is lifted. We have been in this “stay home” situation for about a month now. As soon as we came back from Oklahoma City after buying the Subaru Outback on the 13th of March, we were on quarantine because of the COVID-19 pandemic. No family visits, no parties with friends, no restaurant dine-ins, and no play time at the parks. And social distancing is a must with a minimum of six feet distance. All sporting and seasonal events are cancelled. Doctors’ appointments are rescheduled. It’s difficult be it’s NEEDED for our SAFETY and HEALTH. It’s a worldwide issue and we have to cooperate because we’re all in this together.

Hopefully, sooner than later, this will end so we can be with our families and friends again. We’ll be driving our Subaru Outback visiting everyone. 🙂

Road Repairs Badly Needed

After months of dealing with the difficulty in crossing and turning at the intersection because of the holes on the road, they are fixing (filling in) them now. Good because we had enough of it. I just hope the patches will last for a very long time and don’t get washed away because, you know, it’s Spring season and rains a lot in Texas in April.

Salute to the diligent workers who are doing a great job on road works. May they be safe and healthy especially in this difficult times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Take care everyone.

Plans On Warm Windy Weather

Texas sky.

Hi there! How’s everyone? Happy March 1st! Yes, it is already March 1, 2020. Can you believe it? It’s windy and mostly cloudy today here in Texas. It is warm outside and great to go have fun outdoors. But with this winds, I’ll just hang out on my front or back porch cleaning a little bit-sweeping off the dead leaves.

Spring is just right around the corner. Do you have travel plans on Spring Break yet? My friends and I were planning to visit our other friend who recently moved to Houston. But there’s a change of plans so we might just do it in the summer. I don’t have any fixed travel plans for Spring Break yet. I asked my darling daughter what she’s interested in doing next week but sounds like she doesn’t want to go farther away. With this new virus issue in the state, we might do staycation again this year.
