I got a tag from Naomi, a Filipina friend in South Carolina, this evening (June 9). This is something about what criteria does a man or a woman is searching for choosing a mate and partner for life.
Every individual has his own standards, high or low. When you found someone who, you feel will be the one to spend the rest of your life with, the big decision is yours. The most important is that, both parties have thought about what kind of relationships they are getting into. I think you know what I mean.
It is normal to have some standards. But mine are simple and I would like to share them with you. What’s yours?
My Top 5 Criteria
Easy to please
I appreciate Naomi for sharing me this tag. On the other hand, I would like to pass this tag to Cacais50, Enday, Vhi…
June 7, 2008 – It’s Saturday. As usual, Steve and I drove out of town for a weekend visit to our house for sale in Nevada. We stopped by at Denny’s for breakfast. I saw a free reading material and I decided to get one since it’s about one and a half hour drive to the house. I don’t want to get bored and sleepy inside the Chevrolet Silverado truck. Besides, eating a heavy breakfast makes us sleepy.
Anyways, the free paper I got is called the Coffee News. I found out that this single-sheet reading material is the large publication worldwide. Distributions are done every week here in Forth Worth. It contains news articles, upcoming events (in the city), and ads that are printed in a 11×17 sheet of paper (front and back), and it has new editions weekly. In fact, it has horoscope and humor section too! It is really someting to read.
I looked up in the horoscope section and here’s the read:
Libra – “You really put your heart and efforts into helping others now. A generous spirit is brougth forth in you, nurturing to your close relationships.” (for Steve) Aquarius – “This is a very good time to go to the theater or social gathering. You will want to see beautiful things and exchange pleasantries with others.” (for me)
Well, Steve’s horoscope is kind of right somehow. He has been busy with work this week and comes home late. Mine? Amazing! A Filipina friend invited me to a Pool Party in Plano and Steve’s going to drive me there in the afternoon.
As always, my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner last night while in front of our television watching Ninja Warrior. I prepared a very delicious “pork nilaga” (boiled pork with vegetables) paired with steamed rice. The soup was good that we couldn’t help putting rice in our plates. It gives me an uplifting feeling when my husband thanked me once in a while for the great dinner. He loved it!
After that, we went to the back porch of the house and relaxed ourselves. We hardly breath because our bellies were so full. It was a satisfying meal. And my husband said, “Baby, I am thinking of giving you a treat.”
Hhhmm…I wonder what it is. He said it’s a surprise.
