But what are men’s characteristics that show to attract women?  Honestly, I admire a good-looking man.  His attitude is next.  I think most women are attracted to men with good sense of humor.  And I am one of them.  I like it when a man shares the same interests such as music, traveling, computers, and love.  There was one time I met a guy at work.  He was very friendly and approachable.  We became good friends.  I have always admired him for being a humble person.

The preparation for my upcoming journey to the USA took a couple of months.  Because my visa category was K-1 or Fiance/Fiancee, I had to gather all the documents required (as far as I can remember) by the US Embassy such as:

• Original copy of Birth Certificate (authenticated by the National Statistics Office or NSO)
• Certificate of No Marriage or CENOMAR
• NBI (National Bureau of Investigation)  Clearance
• Police Clearance
• Passport
• 6 pieces passport size photos
• copies of communication means from fiance and me (letters, cards, emails, etc.)
• evidence of relationship (photos together, air tickets, etc.)
• packet from fiance

One month after the approval of the Petition to Marry, I resigned from my job in the Philippines to start the gathering of K-1 visa requirements because the medical and visa interview schedules were on their way.  So I was also one of those people who joined the crowd in the waiting area of NSO, DFA and NBI offices.

When my husband flew to New York for a business travel to his company’s satellite office, a rented mini-van was waiting for him and his colleague at the airport.  Then they use the car to travel around the city and when they were going out to lunch with co-employees.  It was kinda nice and convenient that the company get an NYC car service for their employees.  My husband liked the idea.  Although he never liked New York that much, at least the car service helped.

There are lots of car service in New York but you can get low-priced car service if you just compare prices wisely.  They said New York is a nice place.  And the business areas are many.  Maybe someday we will get the opportunity to have a vacation in New York.  I would love to see the Statue Of Liberty and Niagara Falls (US side).

In three days I will be celebrating the 4th anniversary of my arrival here in the US.  Oh how fast the time flies.  My coming here was to marry the wonderful guy I met six years ago.

I flew by myself via Korean Airlines because it has the cheapest airfare from Manila to my point of entry which is Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW).  That was the very first time I flew international.  Korean Air has flights from Manila to DFW at 12 A.M. Saturdays.  The lay-over in Seoul/Incheon Airport is six hours but I did not have enough time to rest, maybe, also because of the excitement I was feeling that I will be with my beloved for good.  We arrived in DFW Airport Saturday at exactly 9:30 A.M.  The time change really gave me a bad jet lag.  Hah!

Well, travelers whose life have been occupied by technology and computers can use this tool called clipix.  What has to be done is an organization of travel interests on the net.  If you bookmarked tons of websites for reference, you can do it with this tool without the hassle of confusion.  You will only come back to one place to check on it.  Some of us are spending time working online and seems like our lives are occupied with the Internet.  Organizing our hobbies, activities, and even travel plans can be done on clipix.
