Wedding Dresses For A Beach Wedding

One of the biggest day and the most anticipated event in a person’s life is the wedding.  Why is that?  Because it is truly a life changing moment.  It is the celebration of two people in love joined together in a solemn ceremony witnessed by family and friends.  The moment that will be cherished forever.  So why is it a big deal that people involved are kind of stressing about stuff like wedding venues, guest list, reception, wedding gowns and suits?

Honestly, if you want your wedding to be close to perfection, a preparation ahead of time very necessary.  If the wedding is to be held at the beach, contacting the perfect beach resort ahead of time for reservation for the ceremony is ideal.  And determining the number of guests who RSVP’d is a must to avoid last minute decisions.  Besides these things, the bride and groom have to have their wedding attires ready soon before the wedding day, of course. It’s undeniable that everybody wants to see how the bride looks on her wedding day.  One of the important things is the wedding dress.  There’s no need to wear grandeur wedding dress if the wedding is to be held at the beach.  My personal choices from are the Princess Halter style dress and the Princess Strapless Tea style dress.  These two wedding dresses will make the bride look more stunning and fresh as well as alluring in the eyes of the groom.

Lovely aren’t they?  Actually, I wore almost the same halter-style wedding dress on my wedding day. And next month is my wedding anniversary.  🙂

Niece’s Wedding

Summer is wedding season too.  My husband’s niece got married last month and we were all invited.  It was a big event for her because all the family were there to witness the special day.  We are very happy for my husband’s niece.  She and her groom are very in love.  When they got engaged, the she received a very gorgeous engagement ring.  Their wedding bands are beautiful.  It was a lovely wedding to remember.

But planning a wedding is not that easy.  Venue is one of the most important thing to be finalized a head of time.  And if you are clever enough, you will be able to find a wedding venue with a reception area.  Everyone does not have to drive a long way from the church or chapel to the reception like restaurants or private venue.

The couple went to Dominican Republic for their 7-day honeymoon and escapade.  I am jealous, I admit.  Hopefully, my husband and I will be able to afford a vacation to the Carribean for our second honeymoon.

Luncheon In Richardson

Besides Father’s Day, this month is a very special month for the family because my husband’s niece got married recently – last week.  But before the wedding day, my husband’s mom, my sister-in-law and me hosted a luncheon honoring the bride the day before the big day.

My sister-in-law found a small cafe in Campbell Road in Richardson called Chocolate Angel Cafe.  The specialty of the cafe is mostly pastries.  But their chicken salad surely was yummy!

My mom-in-law was kind of worried because the cafe is not openly visible on the road.  She thought the guests will get confused with the address place on the luncheon invitations.  Well, with the use of the GPS, people can go anywhere they want.  The invitations were sent two weeks before the lunch date.  One of the bridesmaids, actually she’s the Maid Of Honor, was out-of-State for her own wedding too.  So we had to schedule the get-together the day before the wedding.  Gladly, everybody came to the luncheon.  The bride was very happy and appreciative with everything that the family and friends is giving her.

Preparing the party invitations requires lots of finalization.  The host or hosts must pick a date the would likely convenient for the guests.  Usually, the event is held on the weekend.  Most people are off on weekends so a special invitation can be inserted to their schedule of appointments. One of the hardest part is looking for a venue.  In our bride’s situation, only a few lives in the Dallas.  Most of us live outside Dallas.  So we had to look for a restaurant or cafe in the middle.  Richardson was the perfect place.  The bride sounded very excited at the luncheon.  She cannot wait to be wed to her boyfriend.  I know how it feels like.  Her wedding was simple and very solemn.

So if there is an upcoming get-together in your family or circle of friends, Chocolate Angel Cafe in Richardson, Texas is the place to go.
