It’s girls night out this evening with my MIL, SIL and her daughter.  My MIL bought me a ticket to the Beauty And The Beast theater play held at the Cowan Center in University of Texas at Tyler.  We’ve never been there before until tonight.  University of Texas is one of the prestigious college university in Texas.  And the Cowan Center has been the venue of theatrical and musical plays in Tyler for years.

This is the second time I watched a theater play.  It was during my college days when I saw one.  It was a Shakespeare’s play called “The Taming of the Shrew”.  Watching the play was a requirement in our Literature class.  Then we had make and submit a synopsis.

I have seen Beauty And The Beast movie more often because my niece and nephews loved to watch animated movies.  And watching the whole story played live is a great experience to me.  I love the props and the performers.  My two favorite scenes were they sing with Gaston, and the welcoming of Belle in the castle singing “Be Our Guest”.  So extravagant!
