We had a great night at the National Night Out last two Tuesdays ago. It was an event that we’re looking forward to every October of the year.  This National Night Out or NNO is held in appreciation to our community’s first responders (see: responder).

There are so many activities going in a National Night Out:  pony rides, bounce houses, giveaways from sponsors, free food, free music, K9 show, barrel ride…to name a few. This also a good time to meet and know your neighbors.  This way, we can help each other in fighting crimes in our communities. This is held usually in big areas like city parks.

After all the fun activities, NNO always ended with a fabulous fireworks show.  We loved it.

Summer might be over and your vacations and traveling are slowing down now, well…at least for a little while, but the responsibilities in the household never slows down.  An example of this is home responsibility is home improvement.  Yes we do love our home.  Home is where we relax after a long day of work.  And home is the place we return to after so many days of traveling and vacationing.

So besides pool cleaning, what else can you do to keep your pool area safe?  Here is an important thing to consider.  A pool fence.  You would think that installing a fence around your pool will cost you a fortune.  But it doesn’t have to be that very expensive.  You just have to shop around and looking for the right company that will provide you with an outstanding pool fencing service Gold Coast area.  Aside from pool fencing, you may also try to think of home remodeling or building an outdoor shed for extra space.

Ways to Protect Outdoor Venues From Pests

Outdoor events create some of the best memories of our lives. Whether you’re celebrating a special graduation, wedding, family reunion, milestone birthday or anniversary, or simply a family picnic, pest control is a must. People will enjoy mingling, and kids will have fun running through the grass in an area that is safe and pest-free.

Mosquitoes and ticks carry many harmful diseases. It’s always best to hold outdoor events in an area that has received professional tick treatment and mosquito control treatment before hosting your special occasion. For the best memories, why not treat your outdoor venue beforehand to protect those you love from harmful ticks and mosquitoes?

Ways to Protect Outdoor Venues From Pests

There are several ways to protect your outdoor venue. First, it’s smart to have the area treated about 24 to 48 hours before your event. Professionals such as Mosquito Squad will apply a barrier spray to kill pests currently in the area and to control pests for the duration of your event.

Sprays leave no lingering odors or residue that anyone could notice. When they’re applied far enough in advance, there’s no chance for the spray to come into contact with serving dishes or food. This helps to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Your celebration area will be a pest-free, safer place to be all day and into the night.

Protect Against Ticks With Highly Effective Methods

One of the best ways to protect your celebration venue from ticks is to have special tubes placed strategically around the area as far in advance of your event as possible. These special tubes are made from biodegradable material. They have an interior composed of specially treated cotton.

The cotton is carried away by field mice to create their nests. Mice are often the first hosts that ticks feed from. Ticks receive a dose of the chemical from the mice, and they are soon eliminated. Sprays are also effective in the shorter term when there hasn’t been time to use a treatment like that found in tubes.

Eliminate Ticks for the Safest Celebration

Keeping guests safe is the goal, along with making sure everyone has a fantastic time at your special event. Good memories will be made without the risk of someone becoming ill with an insect-borne disease. Treating the area for mosquitoes and ticks is a thoughtful way to let guests know you care.
