We had a great night at the National Night Out last two Tuesdays ago. It was an event that we’re looking forward to every October of the year.  This National Night Out or NNO is held in appreciation to our community’s first responders (see: responder).

There are so many activities going in a National Night Out:  pony rides, bounce houses, giveaways from sponsors, free food, free music, K9 show, barrel ride…to name a few. This also a good time to meet and know your neighbors.  This way, we can help each other in fighting crimes in our communities. This is held usually in big areas like city parks.

After all the fun activities, NNO always ended with a fabulous fireworks show.  We loved it.

Shaving Strokes Off of Your Game to Make Golf More Fun

Playing sports is an activity that helps us stay healthy, strong, and fit.  It also becomes a hobby that leads to recreation and pleasure.  Do you enjoy a sport? What is it? How about golf?

Since the rise of Tiger Woods almost two decades ago, golf has become much more popular among American sportsmen and women. The game has risen in popularity not only at the professional level, but also at the amateur level, with people trying to learn the game in order to play with their colleagues, with their friends, and with their families. While bad golf can be fun, there are few things more pure than really hitting a good golf shot. In order to hit a good golf shot, one must have the proper training. Good golf swings do not just happen. They are, instead, the result of tremendous practice on the part of those doing the playing.

With this in mind, many people are turning to their favorite golf training facility to give them the instruction that they need. Good golfers have to work on the fundamentals of the golf swing if they want to make improvements. They have to have a good swing plane, and they need to work on their tempo, as well. At a solid golf facility, people are not only given a forum where they can practice, but they are given the tools that they need to make better golf swings.

One of the nice things about these facilities is that they can make learning fun. There are few things that can equate to hitting a pure golf shot for the first time. The learning process becomes much more fun when a good instructor can point out the little problems that you might be having. Whether your goal is to become a near-pro or you are just trying to get to the point where you can play a round without losing 10 golf balls, then you’ll be pleased with what you receive when you’re at a skilled golf facility.

Playing golf can be a challenge for people who have not received any form of formal training. People who aspire to play good golf and to get the most out of their experience at the golf course will almost certainly benefit from going through a number of lessons with an instructor who understands. Finding a good golf facility can help you achieve better scores, hit better shots, and enjoy golf as much as it can possibly be enjoyed.
