Future Health Breakthrough in Cell Innovation

Something caught my attention lately and I am curious on this right now. This issue is currently hot in the medical scene nowadays. It is about the key treatment to a number of serious illnesses like heart ailment, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, and other life-threatening diseases. And we, women, have the cure and it is from our own body. Some may ask what is this particular ‘cure’ that we have, and some might just ignore. Women are busy as a bee everyday dealing with hectic schedules in a particular career, managing a family, getting into relationships…etcetera.

But let me tell you what, the revolutionary research and technology of C’elle collects and preserves vital stem cells that can be harvested from the body’s menstrual fluid during the menstrual cycle, right inside of her own home. With C’elle’s non-invasive collection process, menstrual cells are processed and cryo-preserved for potential cellular treatment that may be used in the future. I have checked with CNNMoney about the feature regarding the related details of this method. In addition, this may also restore healthy skin as anti-aging therapy.

They have already informed the public throuh a press release recently.

Taking Control: Future Therapies for a Host of Serious Diseases May Be Found in Women’s Menstrual Blood

July 07, 2008: 01:28 PM EST

OLDSMAR, Fla., July 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — With today’s hectic lifestyle, where most women are juggling careers, family, relationships, and a host of activities, the idea of possibly facing a serious illness in the future is not something that readily comes to mind — especially when a woman is in the prime of her life. But what most women don’t know, is that the key to treating a number of possibly life-threatening diseases that she, a parent, a sibling or even her children may face in later years, such as osteoporosis, heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, may be found within her own body — in vital stem cells, which can now be harvested from her own menstrual blood.

Now, thanks to the revolutionary research and technology of C’elle, a service dedicated to providing women with a safe and easy method of collecting and preserving stem cells found in her menstrual fluid each month, even the busiest woman can take control of her future, right in the privacy of her own home. With C’elle’s non-invasive collection process, menstrual cells are processed and cryo-preserved (stored at a very low temperature) for potential cellular therapies that may be used in the future. These self-renewing cells one day may even be used for sports medicine or cosmeceutical treatments, such as anti-aging therapies.

“C’elle enables and empowers a woman to take control of her future health, and possibly of those genetically closest to her, in a fast, painless and stress free way,” said Michelle Kay, Marketing and Sales Manager for C’elle. “We live in exciting times, as science and technology are discovering how extremely valuable menstrual blood stem cells really are, and the enormous treatment potential they represent for future therapies. C’elle’s ongoing research is supporting these promising findings.”

Shared Health Ideas

When I was checking my inbox this evening, I read a forwarded email from a friend in the Philippines. I find it interesting and I want to share it with everyone. It is about how lack of sleep and bad eating habits affect our health. The information particularly focuses with our liver’s health. It says,
“The main causes of liver damage are:
1. sleeping too late and waking up too late are the main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming overly done foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.

We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our body to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to “schedule” because,
Evening at 9 – 11pm: is the time for eliminating unnecessary/ toxic chemicals (de-toxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in a non-relaxing state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on her health.
Evening at 11pm – 1am: The de-toxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 1 – 3am: de-toxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 – 5am: de-toxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the de-toxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 – 7am: de-toxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.
Morning 7 – 9am: Absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick.
Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 -10am rather than no meal at all. Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood.”
I agree that good rest and sound sleep is very essential to good health. If we don’t sleep well, the toxic in our body will accumulate…affecting our health and our mood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don’t sleep late. What can you say about this?

Dancing: An Attractive Fitness Option

I am also a fan of oldies music– oldies disco music in particular. I just recently tuned in to a station here where they played music of the ‘60s, ’70s and the ‘80s. I cannot help singing and dancing along as I listen to the music of The Beatles, Bee Gees, Journey, Donna Summer, The Village People and others. The upbeat tunes make me lift my hands, swing my hips and dance.

I am one of the people who are inspired by music. I like singing and dancing. Dancing is good for the health and fitness. This helps proper blood circulation and muscle toning. It feels great when you get that sweat out of your body. You will feel fresh after. I am now including this in my daily morning routine.

Experts say that you should approach dancing as you would any exercise. A minimum of three times a week, 20 minutes a session will yield cardiovascular results. But if your goal is to burn calories and lose weight, you need to increase those numbers. Dance can be an attractive fitness option for people who are not big fans of exercise, especially because it allows people to express their creativity. It is also convenient.
