Few months ago, a friend’s father was seriously burnt and was admitted to the hospital for treatment. His father wanted to burn the pile of rubbish in one corner of the factory’s compound. The pile of rubbish was burning very slowly and he thought the fire was going to go out. Without realizing the danger, he went to get a can of remaining petrol from the store room and poured it on the pile of rubbish. All of a sudden, the fire burst out and spread up to him and his chest, arms, face, hair. Even his shirt was burnt. His scream was heard by his son who immediately rushed out to find his father rolling on the ground and immediately called the ambulance.

South Korea is well-known for plastic surgery and their uncle will be very happy to play host to them after all these years.

The parents agreed that what the son suggested sounds good to them. After that, they will have to decide whether it is Thailand or South Korea. Both the aunt and uncle are happy to welcome them anytime. Whichever place they choose, my friend and his siblings will be comforted to know that their parents will not be alone.

Prevent Yourself From Being Sick While Traveling

If you have health concerns, see your doctor before traveling.  Ask for advice and recommendations regarding your health issues to avoid major problem while you are on a trip or vacation.  If you are flying international, always secure an insurance.

There are many people who are, unfortunately, become ill while on travel.  Some may have gotten the sickness due to the irritants in the surroundings.  Others may already have been carrying an illness that is controllable.  But some of the illnesses just attack without warning.  Heart disease is an example.  So it is highly recommended to keep track of the blood pressure everyday.

Just recently I heard that two of my girl friends became widows.  Their husbands died due to blood clots in the artery.  It was extremely heartbreaking because my friend #1’s husband collapsed in the gym while they were doing workouts.  My friend #2’s husband was found lying in the kitchen floor.  Both died due to blood clot.

We cannot really tell what’s gonna happen. They said prevention is better than cure.  Yes, I agree.  To be able to prevent the illness from occurring or from getting worse, we should seek an advice from health professionals and be in the know about blood clot and it’s risks.

Made It Home Without The GPS

I went to see my doctor today.  I did not bring my daughter because the weather forecast said there’s 80% chances of rain Tuesday and Wednesday.  It would be inconvenient to take her with me to the doctor’s office while it’s raining.

You see, I am confident driving in heavy rains.  I have done that before but if there is someone who can take care of my baby while I am on the road, I will be worry-free.  Hubby came home from work to take care of baby while I was gone.

I took US380 to McKinney.  Thirty minutes is a long drive to me.  The purpose of meeting my OB-Gyn is to consult about family planning.  Hubby and I agreed to only have one child.  My doctor explained many things but she asked me three times.  Do I really want to do it?  I answered yes.

Going home, I took a different route.  Instead of going back to US380, I took the back roads going to Wylie.  Without the cheap GPS I bought from a friend, I tried using my memory for familiar signs and turns.  And I did it despite of a bad weather!
