Visiting Dallas Arboretum Soon

Hello September!  Oh dear.  Where did the days go?  It’s almost Holiday season again. I don’t know about you but it always gives me the cheer when BER months start.  No, I am not excited about Christmas to come soon.  Not yet. I am cheerful about is the cooler temperature.  And when November comes, then I will start getting excited about Thanksgiving and Christmas.

September is still low season in travel.  You can still find cheap flights to your vacation destination this Fall.  We are supposed to be going on a long vacation next month.  But plans have changed and the vacation is moved to next year.  Hopefully we will be able to go in April.

It’s getting cooler in the mornings as Fall is approaching.  We are think of visiting the Dallas Arboretum in a few weeks.  My cousin and I have been talking about this trip to the Arboretum, and we’re looking forward to go for it.  We would love to for the kids to see the big pumpkin patch there and the beautiful colorful gardens.

How about you? Are you excited it’s the BER month already?  Do have travel plans in the Fall?  Are there festivals you are excited to go to?

Canceled Visit

My cousin invited us to go to Dallas Arboretum.  We agreed to go in the afternoon today, Sunday.  I have not been there since I arrived here in Texas.

We both decided to meet up there because my husband and I had to go to town to take care of an errand.  When we are about to go after lunch at Whataburger, heavy rain started falling.  My cousin called saying their in Rockwall turning to I30 and it’s raining hard over there.  I told her we are still in Garland and the rain is heavy too.  So the visit to Dallas Arboretum is postponed.  We will just reschedule it some other time.
