Estate Planning You Can Trust

A lot of people are not retiring soon but many elder men and women are have had been prepared for their retirement. They are the ones who are enjoying their occasional traveling and vacationing wherever they want to. In short, they are enjoying the fruit of their labor.

See, if you have a vision for a bright future, you will do the best you can to be able to fulfill your goals and plan for the future.  Some people only think of today.  They don’t look forward to what they ought to be in the future. They tend to ignore the fact that life is unpredictable. If we don’t plan, secure, and save purposely in order to enjoy our lives when we reach the golden years, then there will be a possibility of regret in the way.

As I get older, I realized it’s not the material things in this world matter.  What is important is the manner of living your life.  The quality time and the great memories you spend and share with your family and friends matter the most.  Because you won’t be able to take those materials things with you when you leave this beautiful world.

If you have the assets and wealth, which some people have accumulated in their lifetime or inherited from great families, one of the best decision you will do is to acquire an estate planning and putting your assets into a living trust.  We do not know what the future holds but if we are prepared and put our assets in place, there is nothing to worry about. In order to do this, you will need help from a professional especially if you live in Glendale, AZ. A trust attorney glendale will be able to help your trust needs here. Trusted in service for many years, estate planning and helping people to get their finances together is the specialty. Of course, this requires a keen decision-making.

A loved one who’s very dear to me passed away a few years ago.  He was my uncle. I wasn’t sure how old he was when he passed but he got very sick.  He owned a land and a home.  I’d say he didn’t enjoy the rest of his years very much for he was bed ridden and had no medical attention.  He had a complete family yet, I guess, no one cared enough to you know…at least take care of him.  Anyway, I hope he is in peace now somewhere.

This is a reminder that we should take care of our family and ourselves.  We should think about the future.  We should plan ahead so we can live with happiness and contentment. As we get older, we need to put our properties and finances in order so we won’t worry about it much when the time comes.  In this case, check out www.sharonravenscroft.com for professional advice regarding estate planning and financial order. We will all go to the same destination in our later years.  It is up to us how to live our lives. It is up to us how to manage our time, our assets, and finances.  We cannot predict the future, but we can plan ahead and get everything settled so we can enjoy this beautiful world of ours without worry and without regret.

Stay focused. Stay healthy. Plan and save for a better and bright future. Have a wonderful day!

Things To Do At Beaver’s Bend State Park In Oklahoma

This is the first Spring Break ever and we had a great time.  Our favorite getaway place, Beaver’s Bend State Park in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, was as relaxing and peaceful as ever. We have been here a few times in the previous years and I can say this is a great place if you need to be just with yourself or with your family enjoying the serenity of nature away from the busy life in the big city.

Here are few things you can do at Beaver’s Bend State Park:

Hiking

Hiking – There are hiking trails all over the state park.

We enjoy hiking.  Besides being a good exercise, hiking gives you feeling of achievement.  Once you reach the top of the hill, it feels amazing. Climbing down the hill feels more tiresome because you are using different muscles. Overall, it’s an awesome hobby.

Camping

Camping – Beaver’s Bend State Park in Oklahoma is also a great place to camp.  There are family-friend and pet-friendly camping grounds in the park.

We drove around and saw campers in their tents and camper vans. Since it is Spring Break, we saw group of young campers in the area.  My family haven’t tried camping yet because of personal reasons. Hopefully we will be able to camp here in the future.

Camping needs a lot of preparation.  You have to have a very well-made and durable camping tent. Camping is fun, too.  Remember, there is no cellphone signal in the woods so you can only use data on your mobile phones.  On the other hand, there are areas in the park where cell signals are very limited.

Soaking your feet in the ice cold water in the river.

Fishing – Yes, you can do fishing in the river at Beaver’s Bend State Park.  Bring your fishing gear and unexpired fishing license or fishing permit and you are good to catch rainbow trouts and other trouts.

We would love to go fishing in the future.  We just have to work on my darling daughter’s patience.  🙂 For now, we just enjoy soaking our feet in the ice cold water in the river.

DO NOT FORGET:  If you hear the siren, get off the water immediately because the water level in the river will rise quickly when they release water from the dam.  🙂

Strategy Tips for Insurance, Whether It Is for Your Home, Car, or Something Else

If you are like many people, you view insurance as a necessary evil. Evil because it often seems as if insurance companies are all about ripping people off. Necessary because if your house burned down or your car was totaled, you could be in a world of financial trouble. So, it is fair to say that the peace of mind insurance is supposed to provide does not necessarily mean peace of mind if you worry about a claim not being covered. That’s why it is important to approach insurance strategically.

Prioritize Needs and Wants

What are your needs and your wants? What does your budget look like? One good thing about insurance is that there are plans to fit many needs. If you prioritize super-duper insurance that covers any eventuality you can think of, you can likely get it. You just may have to pay more, but insurance is structured so that each new area of coverage may not cost you more than a few dollars a month.

Common considerations for insurance priorities include:

  •          To save money (the cheapest insurance possible)
  •          To cover all bases (your plan would likely be among the priciest insurance)
  •          To fill a niche demand (tattoo shop, laser center, or day spa, for instance)
  •          To get streamlined, yet comprehensive customer service

One important thing to keep in mind is that your priorities should align with the realities of your situation.

Identify (and Reassess) Realities

What exactly does “the realities of your situation” mean? It comes down to checking that your priorities make sense. As an obvious example, suppose you have a new car that cost several hundred thousand dollars. Does it make sense to get the cheapest car insurance? Probably not. The opposite example applies; suppose you have a car you have owned for 30 years and that would sell for less than a thousand dollars. Does it make sense to pay for all types of coverage on the car? Likely not.

The thing is, people’s realities change every year. That expensive car, if you keep it for years, gets older and older, and all of a sudden, you find yourself overpaying a lot on insurance. Try to reassess your realities and priorities once a year.

Compare Quotes

It’s amazing how many people do not compare multiple quotes. Each insurance company considers different factors in its risk models and weighs factors differently. For example, Company A may assign more risk to car owners residing in ZIP Code A and charge more, while Company B does not. A tool such as carinsurancecheap.net lets you compare many quotes at one time, and you don’t have to enter information at multiple websites or call multiple insurance companies.

Ask About Discounts

Once you have workable quotes from three insurance companies you like, how do you narrow them down to the “winning” company? One way is to ask about discounts; insurance agents may not go out of their way to inquire about any applicable qualifying life situations you have. If you only use your car for errands, you could get a steep discount (some tools such as carinsurancecheap.net do consider this as a factor).

If you are a college student with good grades, you could enjoy some money off your insurance as well. Ditto if you decide to bundle your homeowners, car, and motorcycle policies. Many insurance companies also offer discounts if you pay online or if you pay for an entire six months in advance.

Assess Customer Service

Looking at a company’s customer service can be pretty simple. In fact, a few minutes on the website may be all it takes. Review whether contact information is easy to find, and if the company allows claims to be filed online. Also, how can you contact agents or adjusters? Live chat, email, telephone, and so on? During which hours? If you cannot unearth this information online, you may want to proceed with caution.

Finding exactly the right insurance plan for your needs does require some strategy. This is especially true given the fact that your needs change. Often, the change is gradual and takes many years, but you may have done expensive home renovations that add value to your home. You could be under-insured. On the other hand, your car could be over-insured because it has decreased greatly in value.

Spring Break in Broken Bow

Hey, hey, hey!  It’s the month of March already.  What’s the plan for Spring Break?  My family and I are heading to Oklahoma again this year for Spring Break. My daughter misses being at Beaver’s Bend State Park where there is stable rides and train ride. We enjoy being there.  It’s a very relaxing and quiet place away from the busy city.  The Broken Bow Lake is very pretty, and the weather is cool enough to do some hiking in the woods. 🙂  I hope those rides are operating already.

We are planning to book our room accommodations with Best Western Hotel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. We’ve been there before and I think their rooms are nice and the customer service is satisfactory.  My family and I are just gonna take it easy and enjoy nature while adventuring in the woods. And maybe we’ll be able to do a night investigation (finding Bigfoot?). Haha.

How about you?  What are your activities this Spring Break?
