Like everyone else, I am curious to learn how radar works.  It is an interesting piece of structure with many uses like monitoring aircraft in flight and weather conditions.  There are only few areas where radars can be spotted.  Their function is very complex that even me, is having a hard time absorbing. 🙂

I am pretty sure that radar in my photo is an air traffic control radar.  Well, it just looks like one and my husband told me that it is.  It is visible on the highway whenever we are getting on the Toll Road.  There are small airports around the area and the big one is the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).
