Tickets On Hand

Our flight reservation for this year’s vacation is confirmed!  Although the booking was not confirmed at the lowest ticket price that we originally reserved (which made me a little sad), the new rates worked out for us because we are fixed with the departure dates.

My husband went to the travel agency  in Plano and got the tickets issued.  He brought all our passports to present to the travel consultant because it is required to check and see all the information is correct and passports are valid fro travel.  We enrolled my daughter for a SkyPass membership with Korean Air.  I just had my name on the SkyPass card updated because in the record was my name when I was still single.  Gladly I received my new card two days after I updated my information online.

As I remembered, we placed our flight booking early February.  We waited for about four months for the confirmation.  Actually, if we retained the cheaper ticket price, there’s a very low possibility for confirmation.  Our travel consultant informed us that the airline will not guarantee selling the seats for that price.  We had to choose.  Paying an additional $300 on the total ticket price is worth it because we retained our dates for the upcoming vacation.

Now I am starting to get busy with gathering gifts for the family.  And still saving for additional travel expenses too.
