Pre-Thanksgiving Treat That Made Me Wonder

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Jones Soda. All opinions are 100% mine.

Here it is! The gift from Izea is here. A pre-Thanksgiving treat that made me wonder what’s inside the green box. I heard a sound of liquid shaking in a bottle when I picked up the gift from the mailbox. My mind was full of guesses. Finally, I opened the box. What’s inside? A turkey hat and Tofurky and Gravy Jones Soda . Huh, have not heard about Jones Soda before. My husband said he does not know that Jones Soda is making Tofurky and Gravy. “Maybe it is new,” I said.

See, I have a habit of reading the label contents of a packed food or a drink that is new to me before I try them. It is not weird. It is my curiosity that makes me. My blogger friends wanted me to open the box and try the soda. Okay, I did it. Sure it tastes like a soda except for one thing. There is an unusual flavor that I am thinking there is a sprinkle of salt in it. Sure does. I like this soda to be sweeter.

My husband hasn’t tasted Tofurky and Gravy Jones Soda yet. He is on a business trip right now. I wonder if my father-in-law will like the taste of it. He is the only person I thought of giving the soda as a gift this holiday. He likes to try new things especially with food and drinks. That’s it. I would love to hear his opinion too. And when my husband comes back from his business trip, he will take the taste test.

First Anniversary At The Job

Long work stretch is coming. I am scheduled to work eleven days straight. Yes, this holiday season is tough. And the store will begin its late closing time on the eleventh. I have a couple of closing time schedule next week.

Oh hey, it is my first anniversary at work. I started the day after Thanksgiving last year! Yay! Isn’t it wonderful? I am grateful to God for the blessings and the achievements that I am getting since I came here in the USA. Hhhmmm…I want to celebrate.

Turkey Day

Well, today is my second Thanksgiving Day in the USA. Last year, we were at my husband’s parents’ house. This time, we are at my brother-in-law’s house. He and his wife invited us for Thanksgiving Dinner. Her family is coming so my husband and I will be meeting them soon. With the help of my mother-in-law, the couple is busy preparing the food including the turkey and ham.

Looking at my father-in-law pulling of the meat from the turkey, I feel hungry. I am eating the white meat this time.
